The tournament will adhere to USA Pickleball rules, and all play will utilize Franklin Indoor Balls. Player skill levels will be determined using their UTPR (Universal Tournament Pickleball Rating).
Tournament Schedule
The competition spans three days, each dedicated to different categories:
- Friday, August 23: Women’s Doubles and Men’s Singles
- Saturday, August 24: Mixed Doubles
- Sunday, August 25: Men’s Doubles and Women’s Singles
Format and Structure
The tournament employs a Round Robin/Pool Play format across all divisions:
- Divisions with 3 Teams or Fewer: These will be merged with another division to ensure competitive play.
- Divisions with 4-7 Teams: Participants will engage in Round Robin play with subsequent playoffs.
- Divisions with 8 or More Teams: These will follow a Pool Play format with playoffs to determine the winners.
Players will compete in a minimum of three matches. All Round Robin and Pool Play matches are structured as a single game to 15 points, with a win-by-2 rule.
- Round Robin Divisions: The top 4 teams will advance to the playoff round.
- Pool Play Divisions: The top 2 teams from each pool will move forward to the playoffs.
In the Playoff and Pre-Medal rounds, matches will be played as a single game to 15 points, win by 2. Medal matches will be contested in a best-of-three format, with each game played to 11 points, win by 2.
Registration Details
The registration fee for the tournament is $45, with each event costing an additional $10. The deadline to register is August 15, 2024, at 11:30 PM local time.
