The Happy Trails Classic pickleball tournament returns for its 19th year this January. The weeklong event, set for January 13–19, 2025, features men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles for players aged 50 and older at the Happy Trails Resort in Surprise, Arizona.
This year, the USAP-sanctioned tournament introduces exciting 70+ Age/Skill events, alongside the existing 50-59 and 60-69 age groups. All matches will be refereed to maintain high competition standards.

Registration Guidelines
Players are officially registered once both partners in a doubles team have signed up and paid their fees. Incomplete registrations could result in being moved to a waitlist.
Weather Policy
As an outdoor pickleball event, weather delays are possible. Organizers will make every effort to play all matches, but refunds will not be issued for cancellations due to inclement weather.
Health and Safety Measures
- Safety volunteers, staffed tent, and roving teams onsite.
- AEDs available; emergencies will result in a 911 call.
- Filtered water stations and hydration coolers at the venue.
Refund Policy
- No refunds after January 1, 2025.
- Withdrawals within five days of registration: Refund minus $5 event fee.
- Withdrawals after five days: Refund minus $20 admin fee and event fees.
