Aditi made her Olympic Games debut at the 2016 Olympics and also competed in the 2020 Olympics, where she narrowly missed the podium with a fourth-place finish. Aditi Ashok was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, to Ashok Gudlamani and Maheshwari Ashok. She attended The Frank Anthony Public School in Bangalore, where she graduated in 2016. Aditi’s journey into golf began at the age of five when her parents introduced her to the sport at the Karnataka Golf Association driving range. With only three golf courses in Bangalore at the time, her early exposure to the game was limited but impactful. Aditi’s father, Ashok, served as her caddie during the 2016 Olympics, while her mother, Maheshwari Ashok, took on the same role for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Aditi Ashok’s golfing career took off at a young age. At just 12 years old, she participated in the Asia Pacific Invitation tournament, and by 13, she had already secured her first professional tour victory.
