On August 15, 2025, Seymour was selected to the 40-man roster and made his Major League Baseball debut that night. In a unique twist, he shared the field with two other players named Seymour, including his former teammate Carson Seymour. In his rookie season with the Tampa Bay Rays, Seymour recorded his first MLB hit on August 17, an infield single, and hit his first MLB home run on August 20 against the New York Yankees.
