He began the 2024 season with the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers, where he recorded a 2.27 ERA with 29 strikeouts across 35.2 innings pitched in seven starts. On May 20, 2024, he was promoted to the major leagues for the first time, although he did not play in a game before being optioned back to Biloxi. He made his MLB debut on June 20, 2024, against the San Diego Padres, pitching one scoreless inning. On July 27, 2024, he was traded to the Colorado Rockies, where he made his debut on August 12 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
