After being drafted 50th overall by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the United States Hockey League (USHL) 2013 Futures Draft, Burke joined the RoughRiders following his tenure at Noble and Greenough. Burke scored his first professional goal against the Bakersfield Condors on April 13, 2021, finishing his rookie year with two goals and nine points in 33 regular-season games. On June 17, 2021, Burke was signed to a one-year contract extension with the Eagles.
