Cayden Primeau is an American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the seventh round, 199th overall, by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2017 NHL entry draft, and previously played with the Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Cayden Primeau was born on August 11, 1999, in Farmington Hills, Michigan, United States. He is the son of former NHL player Keith Primeau. When Cayden was five months old, his family moved to Voorhees, New Jersey, following his father’s trade to the Philadelphia Flyers. Primeau attended Bishop Eustace Preparatory School, where he began to develop his skills in hockey and laid the foundation for his future career.
Path to Hockey
As a youth, Cayden Primeau played with the Philadelphia Revolution of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). During the 2015–16 season, he earned both Goaltender of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors.
