Frida Kinhult was born in Fiskebäckskil, Sweden. Growing up in a family with a golf professional father, she began playing golf at a young age at Skaftö Golf Club. Her brother, Marcus Kinhult, also pursued a career in golf, turning professional at the age of 19 and competing on the European Tour.

Kinhult has been a member of the Swedish national team since 2013, contributing to her team’s victories in the 2017 European Girls’ Team Championship and the 2018 and 2019 European Ladies’ Team Championship. She has also represented Europe in various prestigious tournaments, including the Junior Ryder Cup and the Junior Solheim Cup, and won the Vagliano Trophy in 2019.
