Frida Mikaela Kinhult (born 25 September 1999) is a Swedish professional golfer and LPGA Tour player. She was number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in 2019 and won the 2020 Symetra Tour Championship to graduate to the LPGA Tour.
Early Life and Background
Frida Kinhult was born in Fiskebäckskil, Sweden. Growing up in a family with a golf professional father, she began playing golf at a young age at Skaftö Golf Club. Her brother, Marcus Kinhult, also pursued a career in golf, turning professional at the age of 19 and competing on the European Tour.
Kinhult has been a member of the Swedish national team since 2013, contributing to her team’s victories in the 2017 European Girls’ Team Championship and the 2018 and 2019 European Ladies’ Team Championship.
