Early Life and Background
George Loffhagen was born in London, United Kingdom, and grew up in Ealing, West London. He attended St Benedict’s School, where he likely developed his early interest in sports. From the age of eight, he received coaching from Alan Jones, a former coach of Jo Durie, and later his son Ryan Jones. Loffhagen joined a tennis academy based in Chiswick and Northwood, Middlesex, run by David Felgate, where he became a regular practice partner for fellow player Jack Draper.
Path to Tennis
Loffhagen began competing in the boys’ singles events in 2017 at prestigious tournaments such as Wimbledon and the US Open, where he reached the third round in both competitions. He also participated in the boys’ doubles at these tournaments, partnering with Jack Draper.
