Seymour began the 2021 season with the Charleston RiverDogs in the Low-A East, quickly earning promotions to the Bowling Green Hot Rods in the High-A East and the Durham Bulls in the Triple-A East. In 2021, he made 14 appearances, achieving a perfect record of 4–0 with a remarkable 1.95 ERA and 87 strikeouts over 55+1⁄3 innings.
