Jacob Cowing was born on February 4, 2001, in Phoenix, Arizona. He grew up in Maricopa, Arizona, where he attended Maricopa High School. His impressive high school performance earned him a scholarship to play college football at UTEP, which was his only Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) offer.
