Jessica DiGirolamo (born February 13, 1999) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman for the Montreal Victoire of the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL). She previously played for the Boston Fleet of the PWHL and had a successful collegiate career at Syracuse. DiGirolamo is recognized for her defensive skills and has received multiple accolades throughout her career, including being named the CHA Defenseman of the Year in both 2022 and 2023.

Early Life and Background

Jessica DiGirolamo was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, to Salvatore DiGirolamo and Mary Kolic. She has a brother named Matthew. DiGirolamo began her journey in ice hockey at a young age, playing for the Oakville Jr. Hornets in the Provincial Women’s Hockey League for three seasons. During her senior year, she served as the assistant captain of her team. She attended St. Marcellinus Secondary School, where she excelled as a four-sport athlete, participating in basketball, ice hockey, softball, and track and field.

DiGirolamo’s passion for ice hockey led her to pursue a collegiate career at Syracuse University, where she began playing for the Syracuse Orange during the 2017–18 season.
