Kaleigh Nicole Kurtz (born September 9, 1994) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a center back for Denver Summit FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). She holds the NWSL records for consecutive games started and consecutive minutes played, milestones she built across nearly a decade with the North Carolina Courage. Kurtz is also a two-time NWSL Best XI selection, including a first-team nod in 2024, and a former first-team All-American from the University of South Carolina.
Standing 1.73 m (5 ft 8 in), Kurtz has been a durable presence in the back line, completing four consecutive iron woman seasons with the Courage. Her combination of reliability, leadership, and high-level defending has made her one of the most respected center backs in the league.

Kaleigh Nicole Kurtz was born on September 9, 1994, in Greer, South Carolina, and grew up in the same upstate community. She began playing soccer at the age of four in her local YMCA league, a typical starting point for many American youth players. At age nine, she moved into a more competitive environment by joining the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy, where she began to sharpen her defensive craft.
