Early Life and Background

A native of Endicott, New York, Kylie Nadaner was born on March 18, 1992, to Richard and Roxanne Strom. She has one sibling, Corey. Nadaner played soccer at Union-Endicott High School, where she was named the New York State Class AA Player of the Year and an NSCAA All-American. During her high school career, she contributed to her team’s success, winning two New York West State Cup titles. In addition to soccer, Nadaner competed in track and field, qualifying for the state championship in the 400 meters during her sophomore and junior years. She played youth club soccer for Syracuse Surge Fury, which helped her develop her skills early on. Nadaner later attended Boston University, where she played collegiate soccer from 2010 to 2013.

Path to Soccer

During her time at Boston University, Nadaner made a significant impact on the field. As a rookie, she played in all 22 games, contributing to her team’s success by leading the conference with nine assists. Her performance earned her a spot on the America East All-Rookie Team and AE All-Championship Team. Nadaner’s dedication and talent continued to shine throughout her college career, as she was named team captain in her senior year and earned multiple honors, including All-Patriot League First Team recognition. After completing her college career, Nadaner declared for the 2014 NWSL College Draft but was not selected. Instead, she joined the FFC Frankfurt II reserve team during the 2014–15 2. Bundesliga, marking the beginning of her professional journey.

Early Career (2015–2016)

Nadaner’s professional career began with FFC Frankfurt II in 2015. She made her mark in Germany before returning to the United States to join the Boston Breakers. On July 15, 2016, she made her debut for the Breakers as a substitute and was later signed to a professional contract on August 29, 2016. Although her time with the Breakers was brief, it laid the foundation for her future successes.

Breakthrough (2017–2021)

In August 2017, Nadaner signed a professional contract with Sparta Prague, where she quickly established herself as a key player. In her first season, she helped the team win their first league title in five years and was named the Most Valuable Player in the Czech Women’s Cup final. Nadaner’s contributions earned her recognition as the 2017–18 Czech Women’s First League Player of the Season and club Player of the Season. She continued to excel in her second season, helping Sparta defend their league and cup titles. In August 2019, Nadaner transferred to Atlético Madrid, where she scored her first goal in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. After two successful seasons in Spain, she signed with Orlando Pride in July 2021.
