Reid rejoined her old club team, Lamorinda SC, which had just entered the semipro Women’s Premier Soccer League, and played seven of the team’s eight games. Her Lamorinda coaches and her college head coach, Steve Swanson, then began searching for professional playing opportunities for her. Those efforts led to a training stint with FC Thy-Thisted Q in the Danish Kvindaeligaen.
After her time in Denmark, Reid joined San Diego Wave FC’s preseason training camp after being placed on their discovery list, though she did not make the final roster.
