In 2022, he began the season with the Single-A St. Lucie Mets before being promoted to the High-A Brooklyn Cyclones. Across 18 games for the three affiliates, he accumulated a 4–2 record and a 3.53 ERA with 85 strikeouts over 71.1 innings pitched.

The following year, he spent the season with Syracuse, making 29 appearances and struggling to an 8–10 record with a 6.04 ERA. On December 11, 2024, Vasil was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies 14th overall in the Rule 5 draft, but was subsequently traded to the Tampa Bay Rays. On March 23, 2025, he was claimed off waivers by the Chicago White Sox. Vasil made his MLB debut on May 4, 2025, recording his first career win after tossing a scoreless 2.1 innings against the Houston Astros. Just ten days later, he achieved his first career save by pitching a scoreless ninth inning against the Cincinnati Reds.
