Early Life and Background
Samual Rogers was born in Seattle, Washington, where he began his journey in soccer at a young age. He joined the Seattle Sounders FC Academy in 2013, which provided him with a solid foundation in the sport. Rogers attended Ballard High School in Seattle, where he balanced his academic responsibilities with his growing passion for soccer.
Path to Soccer
Rogers’ early exposure to soccer through the Sounders Academy allowed him to hone his skills and gain valuable experience. On February 23, 2017, he signed a letter of intent to play college soccer at Villanova University. However, just a few months later, he decided to forgo college and signed his first professional contract with Seattle Sounders FC 2 on June 13, 2017, shortly after graduating from high school.

Rogers made his professional debut for Seattle Sounders FC 2 on March 26, 2017, in a match against Sacramento Republic. He quickly made an impact, scoring his first goal for the team on April 25, 2017. His performances caught the attention of other clubs, and he trialed with Standard Liege in 2019, showcasing his potential on an international stage.
Breakthrough (2021–Present)
In April 2021, Rogers signed with USL Championship side OKC Energy, marking a significant step in his career. Later that year, he signed with Norwegian second-tier team HamKam on loan, where he played until the end of the season. Following HamKam’s promotion, Rogers secured a permanent contract with the club at the start of 2022.
