Early Life and Background
Sarah Puntigam was born in Raning, Austria. From a young age, she showed a passion for soccer, joining USV Gnas at the age of eight. During her time with USV Gnas, she helped the team win the Eastern under-13 division twice and the under-15 division once. After her youth career at USV Gnas, she moved to DFC LUV Graz, where she played in the ÖFB Frauen Bundesliga from 2007 until 2009.
