Wian Conradie was born on 14 October 1994 in Windhoek, Namibia. Growing up, he was a multi-sport athlete, participating in various sports, including track and field, and even representing Namibia in field hockey at different youth levels. Conradie attended Windhoek High School, where he played for one of the best rugby teams in Namibia. His early exposure to rugby laid the foundation for his future career in the sport.
