Amar Sejdić is an American professional soccer player who plays as a central midfielder for the Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer. Born in Berlin to Bosnian parents, he moved to the United States at age four and rose through American youth soccer, a stint at Vitesse in the Netherlands, and the Real Salt Lake academy before starring at the University of Maryland, where he captained the Terrapins to the 2018 NCAA national championship. Selected 34th overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft by Montreal, he has since played for CF Montréal, Atlanta United, Nashville SC, and the Columbus Crew.
