Brooklyn Pickleball Team

The Brooklyn Pickleball Team is Brooklyn’s top team in Major League Pickleball. The team is owned by a group of famous people, including Al Tylis, Sam Porter, Eva Longoria, Justin Verlander, Kate Upton, Rip Hamilton, Shawn Marion, Odell Beckham Jr., Cliff Avril, and Mesut Ozil.

The Brooklyn Pickleball Team won its first Major League Pickleball Championship on November 5, 2023, in Dallas. The current players include Rachel Rohrabacher, who was a top college tennis player at the University of South Carolina, an MLP Champion, and one of the top four pickleball players in the world. Dekel Bar is a former professional tennis player and is ranked number 6 in the world in pickleball.

Riley Newman, ranked number 7 in the world, won the 2023 DCPT Championship. Jackie Kawamoto, who played college tennis at the University of Dayton, was an important player in the 2023 DCPT MLP Championship team.

Hannah Blatt is a former professional squash player from Canada and is a rising star in pickleball. Patrick Smith was the Men’s Conference Player of the Year at UMKC and also used to be a professional tennis player.
