Colby Thomas is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball. Born on January 26, 2001, he attended Valdosta High School in Georgia before playing college baseball at Mercer University, where he was a three-year starter and a Cape Cod League participant. Selected by Oakland in the third round of the 2022 MLB draft, Thomas moved quickly through the Athletics farm system with Single-A Stockton, High-A Lansing, Double-A Midland, and Triple-A Las Vegas, reaching the majors on June 30, 2025.
