Cole Sillinger is an American-born Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL. Selected 12th overall in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, he made his NHL debut that same year. His career highlights include scoring his first career hat-trick against the Vegas Golden Knights in March 2022. Before turning professional, Sillinger played for the Medicine Hat Tigers in the WHL and the Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL, where he earned 2021 USHL Rookie of the Year honors. He signed a two-year, $4.5 million contract extension with Columbus in August 2024. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 201 pounds, Sillinger brings size and a two-way game to the centre position, contributing both offensively and defensively for the Blue Jackets.
