Connor Bedard is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and alternate captain for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League. Selected first overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, he won the Calder Memorial Trophy as NHL rookie of the year in 2024 and is regarded as a foundational piece of the Blackhawks’ rebuild.
