Craig Kimbrel is an American professional baseball pitcher whose MLB career as a closer has spanned more than a decade. Drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2008, he earned 2011 NL Rookie of the Year honors and set the MLB rookie save record with 46 saves. A nine-time All-Star and four-time Reliever of the Year, Kimbrel has recorded 440 career saves, won a World Series with the 2018 Boston Red Sox, and reached milestones of 200, 300, and 400 saves with the Padres, Red Sox, and Phillies.
