Damon Severson is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL. A Brandon, Manitoba native, he was drafted 60th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and spent his first ten professional seasons with the organization before being traded to Columbus in June 2023. Known as a mobile, puck-moving defenceman, Severson has represented Canada internationally, earning silver medals at the 2019 and 2022 IIHF World Championships and bronze at the 2012 IIHF World U18 Championship.
