Tournament Format

Amateur Format for Skill/Age Events

Skill levels 5.0 and 4.5 will use the Double Elimination format without a Come-Around, as explained below. For all other skill levels, if there are more than 12 teams (or more than 12 players for singles), the same format will be used.

In the Double Elimination format with No Come-Around, if a team loses a match, the best they can achieve is the Bronze medal. They won’t get another chance to compete for the Gold medal.

Consolation: 1 game to 15, win by 2

Bronze Medal Match: 2/3 games to 11, win by 2
