Deandre Ayton is a Bahamian professional basketball center currently playing for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. Selected first overall by the Phoenix Suns in the 2018 NBA draft after one season at the University of Arizona, he earned NBA All-Rookie First Team honors and later helped Phoenix reach the 2021 NBA Finals. He went on to play for the Portland Trail Blazers before joining Los Angeles in July 2025.
