Dennis Johnson is a former American professional football defensive end who played in the NFL for the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers. Selected by the Cardinals in the third round of the 2002 NFL Draft out of the University of Kentucky, he recorded 65 tackles, 3 sacks, and 6 passes defended across 29 career games. A 1997 Sports Illustrated National Player of the Year and First-team All-SEC selection in 2001, Johnson now serves as head football coach and district athletic director at Woodford County High School in Versailles, Kentucky.
