Frederik Andersen is a Danish professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League. Born on 2 October 1989 in Herning, Denmark, he debuted in the NHL during the 2013-14 season with the Anaheim Ducks and became the first Danish-born goaltender in league history. He later played for the Toronto Maple Leafs before joining Carolina in 2021. Among his major achievements are the William M.
