Who is Hayden Patriquin?

Hayden Patriquin, born in 2005 in Yucaipa, California, is one of the youngest professional pickleball players. Introduced to the sport at age 13 by his grandfather, Hayden transitioned from baseball to pickleball with no prior racquet sport experience and quickly excelled. Known for his quick hands, stellar footwork, and strong two-handed backhand, Hayden has rapidly established himself as a rising star in pickleball. His aggressive play and dedication have made him a player to watch on the professional circuit. Outside of pickleball, Hayden enjoys surfing, golf, mountain biking, and boogie-boarding. He also dedicates time to volunteering by teaching kids pickleball.

Hayden Patriquin’s Pickleball Career 

Hayden Patriquin turned professional in 2022 and quickly made a name for himself in the pickleball world. At just 16 years old, he achieved a notable victory by defeating top-20 World Pickleball Ranked Rafa Hewett at the 2022 APP Mesa Open. His impressive performances continued as he reached the semifinals at the OH SNAP! Denver Open and the quarterfinals at the Vulcan Kansas City Open.

Currently, Hayden holds a DUPR rating of 6.79 in doubles and 6.84 in singles. He is a key player for the Brooklyn Aces in Major League Pickleball. Known for his rapid rise and skillful play, Hayden competes with the Franklin Signature 16mm paddle, further showcasing his talent and dedication to the sport.
