Jacob Trouba is an American professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League. Selected ninth overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, he spent six seasons in Winnipeg before being traded to the New York Rangers in 2019, where he later served as team captain and helped lead the team to the 2024 Eastern Conference Finals. A United States men’s national team alumnus, Trouba joined Anaheim in December 2024.
