John Nelson is an American professional soccer player (born July 11, 1998) who plays as a defender for LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer, wearing the number 14 shirt. A Generation Adidas signing, he entered MLS as the 10th overall pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft by FC Dallas after playing college soccer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
