Who is Kate Fahey?

Kate Fahey was born in 1996 in Tampa, Florida, and currently resides in New York. Growing up, she was an all-round athlete, engaging in various sports such as soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and gymnastics. In eighth grade, she decided to focus on tennis, which became her primary passion. She attended the University of Michigan, where she played collegiate tennis, later transitioning to professional tennis, achieving top 500 rankings in both singles and doubles.

Kate has a younger brother, Matt, and her parents, Tom and Elena, have been her constant support. She has been in a committed relationship with her boyfriend, Charlie, for four years. Beyond sports, Kate enjoys horseback riding, a passion she nurtured during her younger years and still indulges in when visiting a stable.

Kate Fahey’s Pickleball Career

Kate Fahey’s journey into pickleball began in 2023 after a coworker introduced her to the sport through a local tournament. She fell in love with pickleball and soon began competing professionally. In her first year as a pro, she joined the St. Louis Shock in Major League Pickleball and became a prominent figure in the sport, with rankings of #37 in PPA Women’s Doubles and #31 in PPA Mixed Doubles as of 2024.
