Mehvish began playing tennis at a very young age, influenced by her two older sisters who also played. She played Division I tennis at the University of Minnesota before transitioning to pickleball in 2022.

She has been a dominant force in collegiate pickleball, winning two individual national titles and earning a #1 national collegiate ranking while representing Indiana University.
