Born in Saudi Arabia and of Indian descent, Milan Rane moved to Rome, Georgia, at the age of 10. She attended Darlington School, where she was an avid tennis player. Opting not to pursue tennis in college, Milan enrolled at Florida Atlantic University, where she earned a degree in marketing in 2020. During her time at university, she worked as a certified fitness instructor and later became a full-time paid search specialist.

Milan’s family has been a significant influence on her athletic journey. Her brother introduced her to pickleball during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, sparking her interest in the sport. Milan began playing pickleball recreationally in 2020 and quickly transitioned to the professional circuit in 2022. She has since competed in over 60 professional tournaments, amassing a career record of 199–145 in women’s doubles, 91–56 in mixed doubles, and 79–61 in women’s singles. Notably, she reached the semifinals in a PPA Tour event and secured a bronze medal at the 2023 APP Mesa Open.
In Major League Pickleball, Milan has been a consistent performer, representing the Miami Pickleball Club across multiple seasons. Her versatility and competitive spirit have made her a key player in the league.
