Samaje Perine is an American professional football running back currently with the Cincinnati Bengals, his third stint with the franchise. Drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma, he first gained national attention in 2014 by setting the NCAA FBS single-game rushing record with 427 yards against Kansas. Known for his compact build, pass-catching ability, and strength out of the backfield, Perine has appeared in two Super Bowls and contributed as a rotational runner and reliable receiver across the Redskins, Bengals, Dolphins, Broncos, and Chiefs.
