Ty Chandler is an American professional football running back and kickoff returner whose career has spanned the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, he rose to prominence at Montgomery Bell Academy as a two-time Tennessee Mr. Football before starring at the University of Tennessee and later at the University of North Carolina as a graduate transfer. Selected by the Vikings in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Chandler recorded his first NFL start and career-high 132 rushing yards against Cincinnati in 2023.
