Zach Eflin is an American professional baseball pitcher whose career has spanned the San Diego Padres organization, Philadelphia Phillies, Tampa Bay Rays, and Baltimore Orioles. Drafted in the first round of the 2012 MLB draft, he debuted in the majors with the Phillies in 2016 and later became the 2023 American League wins leader with a 16-8 record for Tampa Bay. Traded to Baltimore in July 2024, he was named the Orioles’ 2025 Opening Day starter before a lumbar microdiscectomy ended his season.
