The Chicago Hounds are a professional rugby union team based in the Chicago metropolitan area, competing in Major League Rugby as part of the Eastern Conference. Founded in 2022, the team plays its home matches at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. Co-owned by a group of investors including majority owner Peter Bernick, the Hounds began play in 2023 and have quickly established a presence in the league. Their games are broadcast on Fox Chicago Plus, and the team is known for their early rivalry with the Dallas Jackals. The Hounds continue to develop their squad and compete at the top level of American rugby union.
