Duel IGA Dieppe Pickleball Tournament:The inaugural “Duel IGA Dieppe 2024” tournament is set to unfold from August 16 to 18, 2024, at Dieppe’s new outdoor courts. While registration has already closed, participants will compete across various categories, including doubles and singles, with the possibility of schedule adjustments due to weather conditions.

Categories and skill levels
Doubles Categories Include:
- Women’s Doubles (Open Age to 60+), spanning skill levels from 2.5 to over 3.5.
- Men’s Doubles (Open Age to 60+), across similar skill levels.
- Mixed Doubles (Open Age), with categories for various skill levels.
Singles Categories Include:
- Women’s and Men’s singles from ages 16-54 to 55+, in skill levels 3.5 and under or over 3.5.
Format
- Doubles: Minimum of 5 games per team; preliminary rounds feature 11-point games, while elimination rounds are single elimination with 15-point games. Gold/Silver rounds are best of three 11-point games.
- Singles: At least 3 games; double elimination with first-round winners playing best of three 11-point games and losers playing one 15-point game.
The courts will be open for free practice on Friday afternoon from noon to 4 p.m. for registered players. The venue, Pickleball Dieppe, offers 10 outdoor hard courts with permanent nets and uses Franklin X-40 balls.
