Celebs Play Pickleball at Gruber Law: Summerfest, presented by American Family Insurance, is excited to introduce a new addition to this year’s lineup: the Milwaukee Celebrity Charity Pickleball Tournament and Exhibition. This event, sponsored by Prolite, Pickleball Kingdom, and Centerline Athletics, will take place on June 20 and June 27 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Gruber Law Offices Sportszone. The event will be covered by Newsradio 620 WTMJ, ESPN Milwaukee, and 101.7 THE TRUTH.
Event Highlights
The Celebrity Pickleball Tournament will show prominent local media and business professionals who will team up to play for charity. Organized by Mark Kass of TEAM Lammi in partnership with Summerfest, the event promises a mix of competition and community spirit.

From 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., instructors from the Wisconsin Athletic Club will be present at the Sportszone to teach the fundamentals of this rapidly growing sport. Participants can enjoy open play, receive valuable tips, and benefit from expert instruction.
Charity Donations
Charities chosen by the winning teams will receive donations from the event sponsors. Some of the designated charities include the Milwaukee LGBTQ+ Center, Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation, Special Olympics Wisconsin, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, and the Milwaukee County Parks Foundation.
