Indian Lake Pickleball Project Surges Forward: The Indian Lake Pickleball Committee has successfully reached its fundraising target of $330,000 for the development of a six-court pickleball complex at Oldfield Beach. This milestone was achieved through a combination of generous donations, sponsorships, and a significant $150,000 grant from the Ohio Legislature’s strategic investment fund.

Impact of the State Grant

The state grant announcement in February proved to be a pivotal moment, significantly boosting community engagement and accelerating fundraising efforts.

Laura Kunkle, co-chair of the Indian Lake Pickleball Committee, expressed her appreciation for the support received.

“We are deeply appreciative of the sponsors and donors in Logan County, and we are thankful to the State Legislature for their support. This grant has made it possible to bring our vision to life much sooner than anticipated. Our new pickleball complex will be a unique destination for enthusiasts from across the country.” – (Laura Kunkle)
