Rotary Club of Pella Celebrates New Court Additions at Rotary Park

Rotary Club of Pella: The marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of a new basketball and pickleball court at Rotary Park, hosting a festive celebration on Saturday.

In collaboration with the City of Pella Parks Department, the Rotary Club highlighted the park’s enhancements during a ceremony that culminated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Attendees were treated to traditional Pannenkoeken served by Rotarians, complemented by cold brews from Iris Coffee. Contributions were warmly encouraged through free-will donations to support upcoming park improvement initiatives. Among these projects, the Rotary Club of Pella is actively exploring the addition of a potential splash pad and other community-supported enhancements.

The festivities continued with a variety of engaging activities, including a pickleball clinic, a lively Beat the Mayor challenge, a basketball shooting contest, and a thrilling home run derby.
