The inaugural Village Pickle Open is set to take place from September 27 to September 29, 2024, at Village Pickle Loudoun in Leesburg, Virginia. This exciting tournament will feature singles, gender doubles, and mixed doubles competitions across skill levels of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and OPEN. As the first tournament hosted at this new facility, participants can look forward to a fantastic experience filled with competition and community.

Approximate start times for each division will be announced 1-2 days prior to the event. Player sign-in will begin 30 minutes before tournament play each day.
Registration and Format
Participants must register individually and indicate their team partner during registration. The skill level for each team will be determined by the higher-rated partner.
- Entry Fee for OPEN Events: $70 (cash payouts for medal winners).
- Tournament Format: Mostly double elimination for OPEN events; pool play may be used for other events if enough teams register. Divisions with fewer than six teams will default to pool play.
Franklin X-40 balls will be used throughout the tournament, and medals will be awarded for Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners.
Prize Structure
- OPEN Events: Medal winners in the OPEN category will receive cash payouts, adding an extra layer of motivation for competitive play.
- Medals: Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division, recognizing their hard work and skill on the court.
Important Information
- Registration: Players must create an account at pickleballbrackets.com to register. A mandatory, non-refundable service fee applies: $5 for one event and $10 for two or more events.
- Skill Level Adjustments: The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust and combine brackets based on registration numbers and skill levels.
Special Notice: Participants are advised not to leave the venue without confirming their tournament status, especially after pool play, to avoid forfeiting matches.
