Bryan Jansen, the owner of Sport Construction Midwest, shared insights into the labor-intensive process. He noted that their team first visited to pull weeds and remove black tar, laying the groundwork for the new installations.
Upon their return a couple of weeks later, they focused on more substantial preparations by installing concrete footings and repairing any cracks on the existing court. “We hand mixed about 40 bags of concrete on a hot and miserable day,” Jansen remarked, emphasizing the effort that went into ensuring the courts were up to standard.
