Nutmeg Fall Pickleball Classic Brings Premier Showdown to East Lyme

The Nutmeg Fall Pickleball Classic is an exciting doubles and mixed doubles tournament hosted by the Connecticut Sports Management Group. Scheduled for October 19-20, 2024, this pickleball event will take place at the Lyme Shores Tennis and Conditioning Center in East Lyme, Connecticut. Divisional Play for Young Adults and Seniors

The pickleball tournament will feature Young Adult and Adult Division events for players under 55 years old on Saturday, October 19, while Senior Division events for players aged 55 and up will take place on Sunday, October 20.

Mixed Doubles matches are set to begin at 8:00 AM, followed by Men’s and Women’s Doubles in the afternoon. Senior players are encouraged to compete with younger partners on Saturday, in addition to their events on Sunday.

Participants must register by skill level, and those with significant entries may be divided into age-specific playing brackets. Teams must compete in the age group of the younger partner, and pickleball players must sign up at the skill level of their higher-rated partner.

Registration Fees and Partner Registration Policy

The registration fee is set at $60 for one event, with an additional cost of $15 for each extra event. A non-refundable PickleballBrackets.com software fee of $5 applies for one event, increasing to $10 for multiple events.

To secure a guaranteed spot in the tournament, the second partner must register within five days of the first partner’s registration; otherwise, the team will be moved to the waiting list.

Paddle Requirements and Refund Policy

Refunds minus a $10 processing fee and the PickleballBrackets.com fee are available for withdrawals made before registration closes on October 9, 2024.
