Every year, players gather at the South Yarmouth pickleball courts, united by a common goal: to support the Cape Wellness Collaborative (CWC), a non-profit organization committed to offering free integrative therapies, nutritious meals, and emotional support to individuals battling cancer. With an estimated 130 pickleball enthusiasts in attendance, the energy was noticeable, echoing the spirit of giving that permeated the event.
A Legacy of Generosity
The success of the fundraiser extends beyond the nets and paddles. Last year’s event raised an impressive $4,000 for the CWC, a figure that co-organizer Beth Deneen is proud of.
