Pickleball and Philanthropy Come Together for a Day of Giving and Games

Pickleball and Philanthropy Come Together: The Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City is set to bring the community together for a pickleball tournament on Sunday, November 17, at Chicken N Pickle Overland Park. This exciting event aims to unite players of all skill levels and encourage community engagement while raising funds for the Federation’s initiatives. With the growing popularity of pickleball, this tournament serves as a perfect opportunity for connection, fun, and philanthropy.

A New Tradition in Fundraising

In previous years, the Jewish Federation hosted a golf tournament as part of its annual fundraising efforts. However, this year marks a shift in focus as they concentrate solely on pickleball.

By replacing golf with pickleball, the Federation aims to attract more participants who enjoy this fast-moved sport. The tournament offers two sessions: the first from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the second from 12 to 3 p.m. Players can expect a lively atmosphere filled with friendly competition and opportunities to connect with others.
