Battle Ground’s Pickleball Event Opens Registration for Serving Up Support

Battle Ground’s Pickleball Event: Battle Ground Prevention Alliance is gearing up for its first “Pickleball for Prevention” fundraiser, aiming to raise funds for local youth wellness and drug prevention programs. The event promises not only to show the rapidly growing sport of pickleball but also to strengthen community ties for a vital cause.

Pickleball Event Details

Scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event will take place at Chief Umtuch Middle School, located at 700 NW Ninth St., Battle Ground. Registration for players is set at $20, while spectators can join the fun at no cost.

Those interested in participating can register until Oct. 25 at preventtogetherbg.org/pickleballforprevention or by contacting PreventTogetherBG@gmail.com.

Community Engagement and Activities

Attendees are encouraged to wear their best Hawaiian dress for a festive atmosphere. The day will be filled with pickleball clinics, friendly games, and a variety of prizes. Participants can also enjoy refreshments available for purchase, engage in a silent auction, and explore kids’ activity tables designed to entertain younger guests.
